![]() ![]() Lets turn to the sports world for a second. ![]() Arguments should not be 'your winrate is x, and therefore invalid or valid' they should be 'your points are invalid/valid for these reasons'. Lets take my belief that BB's could use a slight nerf to AP max damage, lets say 2000 damage off the 16 inch and bigger guns - how is 'You only have a 50% overall WR an argument against that? It's not, especially when my WR in BB's specifically is 52% and they are my most played ship. Why my exact line was "if someone is ONLY attacking my stats" or for that matter - anyone else's. Now if you want to point to the stats, and then argue the actual points being made - again, different story. Same goes with stats - if you are attacking someone purely on their stats, that because they are bad they no nothing - then your just being a jerk and not in anyway attempting to disprove their actual points. Now, If he said about the school, and then pointed out all the places he is actually wrong in the diagnoses, different story. Nick he is wrong purely because of where he got his degree, without any explanation beyond 'You learned at a crap school'. You've completely missed the point of what I was saying in what your quoting. Don't worry about the record of accomplishments that validate the opinions- that doesn't matter and you're a jerk if you think it does. House's, and you should pay attention to him. Dr Nick's thoughts, ideas, and opinions are every bit as valid as Dr. If you listen to the one who has the prestigious diploma and the proven track record of knowing what he's talking about, and blow off the one who has a funny voice and got his diploma essentially from a box of Cracker Jacks, you're being an elitist bully. ![]() One got his MD from Johns Hopkins, the other got it from the Hollywood Upstairs Medical College. ![]()
